I came to Occupy as a streamer, mostly was because I was at the Eris parade on March 6, 2011 when the New Orleans Police beat and pepper sprayed the Eris paraders. I had a long-haired Chihuahua who got spooked right before NOPD descended on Eris, so I’d gone around the corner to calm her down.

I need your eyes on me Thursday Feb 7 - Mardi Gras Day Feb 12.

I’ll be out there in the streets. And FYI, I don’t drink any alcohol at all, so I won’t be drunk.

Hopefully everyone will have a safe Mardi Gras. I’m certainly not hoping to encounter police brutality, but if I do, I will record it.
